• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Setting: Inpatient Med/Surg Tele unit serving adult and geriatric patients
• Additional Notes: Weekend and holiday rotations may be required based on operational needs; travelers must float as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
• Prior telemetry nursing experience required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must be comfortable floating to support unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and coordinate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
• Support weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Float as needed to meet patient care demands across compatible units
• Help maintain a calm, efficient, and compassionate patient care environment
