• Shift Schedule: 3 shifts per week; rotating days and nights
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience supporting telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• One qualifying reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Comfort working rotating day and night shifts and adapting to operational needs
• Ability to float to similar adult patient populations as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform medication administration, assessments, treatments, and ongoing patient education
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support high-quality outcomes and efficient patient flow
• Float to like units serving the same patient population when needed
• Support patients who may require ventilator monitoring, depending on unit needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow all hospital safety protocols
• Participate in orientation, required competencies, and onboarding assessments
