Position

  • Ratio:1:5
  • Experience required:2 years
  • Community hospital experience: Required
  • Previous Charge RN experience: Preferred
  • First-time travelers:Accepted
  • Charting: EPIC
  • Staffed beds: 240
  • ICU: 16 beds
  • Scrubs: Navy

Schedule

  • Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts during the Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combining Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  • Holiday shifts: As needed
  • Charge RN assignments: As needed by the unit

  • RTO: Maximum 7 days
  • Guaranteed hours:3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must match the contractor's assigned regular shift length

Floating

Yes. Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities, within the clinician's scope.

  • Central lines, PICCs, peripheral IVs and IV starts
  • Feeding tubes
  • Hemodialysis and renal failure
  • CVA/neuro patients
  • Surgical drains
  • Chest tubes
  • CPAP/BiPAP and HFNC
  • ABG interpretation
  • Tracheostomy management
  • Non-invasive airway management
  • Wound care and wound VAC
  • Isolation precautions
  • PCA
