Unit: Med Surg Tele | 37 beds
Ratio: 1:9 all shifts — team model: 1 RN 1 LPN 1 PCT
Experience: Minimum 2 years
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Rule: No locals; must live >75 miles
Weekend: EOW or 4 weekend shifts/month
Floating: Required to other Med Surg units
Certifications: ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required
Charge Experience: Preferred
Patient Population: Primarily elderly patients with respiratory, cardiac, GI & neurological conditions
Additional Patients: Potential orthopedic overflow
Unit Details: Typical Med Surg/Telemetry unit; uses Care Delivery Model with modified teams as needed
Scrubs: Navy blue and white — any combination
