Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work night shifts on a rotating weekend and holiday schedule with no on-call requirement
• Float to other units as required based on census and staffing needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Complete all required compliance modules and orientation activities, including online computer-based learning (CBLs) during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no other providers will meet compliance)
• AHA ACLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no other providers will meet compliance)
• NIHSS certification required
• Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both or non-completion results in automatic cancellation
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Comfort with floating to multiple nursing units
• Experience supporting nursing students or participating in clinical education
