Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg, Telemetry Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered care. We are seeking experienced RNs who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with various medical needs.

The majority of patients served on this unit are admitted with the following care needs:

• Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration
• Soft tissue malignancy receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy, and symptom management
• Symptom management secondary to disease-related treatment or progression
• Management of comorbidities with a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

Special Equipment: B450 monitors, GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 Years RN experience required
• Certifications: BCLS
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience required

Skills Required:

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Accessing Ports
• Arterial line management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• PICC line management
• IV Start
• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of ABGs
