Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

  • Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Ohio or compact) in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele
  • One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, dated within the past 12 months
  • No open background check cases or license hits accepted

Additional Information

  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required
  • Two attempts maximum allowed to pass required orientation assessments
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
  • Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
  • Travelers expected to work every other holiday
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
  • Travelers may only be submitted for one job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
