Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA); NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references will not be accepted
• No pending certifications accepted at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Travelers must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• Any hits on a professional license will not be accepted
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning
