Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 18-week assignment for winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also accepted

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (charge RN references accepted, co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum of 2 attempts)
• PBDS assessment is waived
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted
• Facility does not accept any hits on professional license
