Job Overview
Specialty: Med-Surg / Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Shift: Nights
Patient Ratio: 1:5–1:6
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: None
Floating: Required (within scope to like units)
Locals: Not accepted (Must reside > 50 miles from main campus)
Position Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience
Licensure: Active State RN License required at submission (no pending licenses)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Submission Requirement: Candidate must provide interview availability upon submission
Contract & System Rules
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; remaining contracted hours guaranteed
RTO Parameters: Approved per manager's discretion
Return Staff Policy: Former staff must be gone for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
Assignment Limit: Maximum 2-contract limit (initial assignment 1 extension); must be gone for 6 months before returning
