Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience and an MD or compact RN license.

Details

  • Med/Surg Tele unit with 63 rooms/beds
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Patient ratio of 1:5
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 20:00-08:30
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required within specialty to lower acuity units as needed
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Tele unit
  • Holiday coverage required as scheduled
  • Navy scrub color required
