Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, with proficiency validated through orientation assessments
• Accurately document hours worked using the designated time-tracking platform
• Maintain compliance with all facility-required annual education modules and hands-on competency requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references will not be considered)
• No open background case or license hits; background findings are reviewed by the facility on a case-by-case basis
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience accumulated within a single location is preferred, though not required
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety practices
