Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
  • Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
  • Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
  • Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
  • Document and submit hours worked through the designated time-tracking platform
  • Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including annual hands-on competency and required modules

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
  • AHA BLS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
  • AHA ACLS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
  • Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
  • One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references will not be considered)
  • Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty tenure
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
  • Experience with electronic time-tracking or workforce management platforms
