Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Complete required facility orientation modules and annual hands-on competency requirements as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applying specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (Charge RN references accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience gained within a single location preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration assessments
