Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The candidate will provide care for a diverse patient population that includes observation patients, those with respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, as well as palliative and hospice patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients in a telemetry setting.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments and document patient care in EPIC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Utilize telemonitoring effectively to interpret dysrhythmias.
- Provide palliative and end-of-life care as needed.
- Participate in patient education and support, especially for chronic conditions like diabetes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- Charge RN experience preferred.
- Active nursing license required at the time of submission.
- Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
