Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Lee's Summit, MO. We are seeking dedicated RNs with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform wound care, tracheostomy care, and manage various medical devices.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg and Telemetry.
• Current BLS and NIH certifications required.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, and intermediate care populations preferred.
• Ability to float within the service line and to sister facilities as needed.
• No pending licenses accepted; local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Must be able to commit to 4-6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
