Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse – 13-Week Travel Nursing Contract in Easley, SC
Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Easley, South Carolina, with weekly pay of $1,710–$1,800. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract

- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Patient Population: Adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 5 patients per nurse
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to unit needs
- Documentation System: Epic electronic medical record
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Floating: Required to qualified units or locations as needed
Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg telemetry nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of Epic electronic medical record experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience caring for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage patients receiving remote telemetry monitoring
- Experience with blood product administration, surgical drains, CVA care, and post-operative patients
- Flexibility to float to other qualified units or locations and work scheduled weekend coverage
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify dysrhythmias, and promptly escalate changes in patient condition
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments safely using established clinical protocols
- Care for patients with conditions including stroke, cardiac telemetry needs, surgical recovery, and total joint replacement
- Manage surgical drains and support blood product administration according to policy
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary partners, including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, IV services, and rapid response teams
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
- Float to other units or locations when requested, performing only duties within demonstrated and documented competencies
