Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Maryville, TN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing care to patients with various diagnoses, including higher oxygen demands, dialysis patients, atrial fibrillation, and post-heart catheterization.

As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for:

• Floating to other like units as needed.
• Providing weekend coverage every other weekend, with flexibility based on patient care needs.
• Managing patients requiring step-down care from ICU, with no ventilator or pressor support.
• Administering drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and initiation of sotolol and telemetry.

Required certifications include:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• Tennessee RN License

This position is open to first-time travelers based on experience, but candidates must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience.
