Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Salisbury, NC. We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts in a supportive team setting.

Job Details:

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required
Traveler Experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers
Work Setting Skills Required: MS/Tele
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias & use of Rapid Response/Code teams
IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills Required: Blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management & starting and maintaining IVs
Respiratory Skills Required: Nasal cannula & non-invasive airway management
Professional Topics and Skills Required: Isolation precautions/PPE
Certifications Required: BCLS, NIH
Preferred Skills/Certifications: Telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, OCN & chemo administration
Target Ratios: 1-6, 36 beds
Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to all areas holding Med-Surg patients; strong med-surg background required
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis
Scheduling Type: Per unit needs
Unit Orientation: 24 hours
Scrubs: Navy
