Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Orangeburg, SC | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Monitor patients using bedside telemetry equipment capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
  • Float within scope to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
  • Work every other weekend as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement
  • Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
  • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Proficiency or ability to chart in Epic
  • Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered as a non-local candidate; candidates within 60 miles may be considered but will be prioritized after non-local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience in a community hospital setting
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Experience working in a newly developed or growing unit environment
