Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and a WV or compact RN license.

Details

  • Float pool role covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
  • Short-term acute care, major teaching hospital, Level II Trauma center with 330 staffed beds
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
  • Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

  • Active WV or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide float pool nursing coverage across Med/Surg and Telemetry units
  • Hunter green scrubs required, or a Cabell T-shirt in place of scrub top
  • Surgery-specific scrubs provided when assigned to that department
  • Free parking available for travelers
  • Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
