Description
Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist Location: Alexandria, LA 71301 Duration: 13 weeks Shift/Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 8-hour shifts
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures.
Conduct MRI safety screenings for patients and staff.
Ensure accurate image acquisition, processing, and storage in PACS.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to management or Biomedical Engineering.
Participate in quality assurance (QA) activities and MRI safety initiatives.
Assist with patient flow and support other imaging technologists as needed.
Adapt imaging techniques to meet individual patient needs.
Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
Work at other campuses or shifts as required.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
Louisiana State MRI/Radiologic Technologist License required.
Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of PACS and MRI safety protocols.
Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
Must be available to work every other weekend.
Preferences:
Hospital-based MRI experience.
Experience with PACS troubleshooting and quality assurance processes
