Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures across various campus locations, with a focus on current MRI expertise and proficiency using Siemens and GE MRI equipment. The position requires prior hospital experience and certifications such as ARRT (R) or (MR). The assignment includes working day shifts with scheduled start and end dates from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience, ARRT / American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate, strong experience using Siemens MRI equipment and highly preferred experience with GE MRI equipment, EPIC or EPIC Radiant experience highly preferred, Level I and Level II Trauma experience highly preferred, current or recent hospital experience highly preferred, valid drivers license required, experience in performing power injection contrast injections, and proficiency with Scrubs in charcoal gray.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience, Level II trauma experience, extensive hospital MRI experience, EPIC or EPIC Radiant system experience.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be flexible to float across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran. Holiday work is required on 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. Orientation dates are scheduled for 09/21, 09/28, 10/05, and 10/12. Call back will be at 1.5x with a two-hour minimum, and on-call compensation is $9/hr. The assignment duration is from 10/12/2026 through 01/11/2027, with NBO of 16 hours.
