Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in an outpatient setting. The role involves operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment, primarily GE Healthcare systems, to produce diagnostic images. The technologist will work collaboratively with a team, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to facility and industry standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI certification; active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification; GE Healthcare equipment experience; willingness to work weekends and evenings; own vehicle required; perm address must be included in the profile; all scheduled requests must be made at the time of submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- The position requires working with a partnered Tech Aide or another MRI technologist, never solo.
- The department is covered by call after midnight.
- The provider must comply with travel and scheduling policies, including work during major holidays as specified.
- All RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included in the profile at submission; requests after offer may be rescinded.
- Traveler must have their own vehicle and a voicemail set up for communication.
- Non-billable orientation is 8 hours.
- Holiday and overtime multipliers are 1.25 times the standard rate.
