Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in a Level Two Trauma Center hospital. This role involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) studies on outpatient, inpatient, critical care, emergency room, and pediatric patients across all body parts. The position requires proficiency in neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), and abdominal imaging, with a focus on independent work in a busy hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day/evening hours, with a Saturday every third weekend and potential holiday shifts. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, minimum of 5 years of recent MRI experience, experience with GE Architect (generating and analyzing MRI images), experience with SECTRA PACS system, and familiarity with GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, Siemens Espree 1.5T equipment, and EPIC Electronic Charting. Must be able to perform MRI studies for all body parts within outpatient, inpatient, critical care, and emergency setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging.
  • Additional Information: No floating required for this position. Bed size/number of rooms: 3 MRI scanners. Orientation includes three days of day shifts followed by 2-3 night shifts as needed. Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. Scrubs: Gray.
