Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist position is located in Reno, Nevada. This role involves producing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, assisting radiologists and referring physicians during procedures, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology within a busy hospital setting serving a large geographic area.

- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in MRI, BLS (AHA), 2 years of MRI experience, experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners, Nevada state licensure or eligibility, high school diploma or GED, valid drivers license, ability to lift and position patients, and effective communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center, familiarity with advanced MRI technology, and additional certifications in radiologic sciences.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to different areas of the organization based on operational needs, including working major holidays and picking up additional shifts during their schedule period. The hospital serves a busy and diverse patient population, requiring quick adaptation and proficiency in MRI procedures. This position involves responsibilities including performing high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient comfort and safety, operating various MRI equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. The incumbent must be able to make technical decisions to optimize image quality and demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
