Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position located in Wausau, Wisconsin. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks, starting on November 9, 2026. The role involves operating GE 1.5T and GE 3T MRI equipment, primarily working Monday through Thursday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with one call shift per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with one call shift per week. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate, ARRT(MR) certification, BLS certification recognized by AHA or ARC, minimum of 3 years MRI experience including GE MRI equipment, GE 1.5T and GE 3T operation, travel experience highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating GE MRI scanners.
- Float: Float rotation to other Central Aspirus locations may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have EPIC experience. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times; non-compliance will result in corrective action. The assignment offers 36 hours of unbillable low census hours, which can be utilized when census is low. Call back minimum is 2 hours, with opportunity for call back pay. The role involves working with GE MRI equipment and adhering to all safety protocols.
