Job Description & Requirements

Shift

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (3×12-hour shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: One Saturday per month, if needed
• On-Call: Not required
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required.
• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and Level I Trauma settings preferred.
• Experience in a teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, and Adult ICU preferred.

Required Certifications

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (required at the time of submission)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate Siemens MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
• Position patients accurately and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer MRI contrast and perform peripheral IV starts when required.
• Monitor patient safety before, during, and after MRI procedures.
• Complete image post-processing and document studies using PACS and Epic.
• Float within the department as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards, infection control policies, and departmental protocols.
