Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position located in New York. This role involves operating and preparing specialized MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images according to established protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physics, and physiology, along with relevant licensure and certification.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology, New York State License (L.R.T.), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified). Additional skills include proficiency in MRI, cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, MRI physics, and physiology.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years' experience in MRI.
  • Additional Information: Performs MRI imaging procedures, positions patients and coils, and provides patient education relevant to imaging processes. Ensures safety standards, maintains cleanliness, reviews safety questionnaires, and assists physicians as needed. Maintains equipment and supplies, accurately records patient information in radiology information systems, and adheres to infection control policies. Attends in-services and maintains licensure per Public Health Code. May perform clerical duties in support of clinical operations.
