MRI Technologist The organization is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to independently perform imaging procedures in a hospital or health care facility setting. The role involves utilizing technical skills and clinical judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Independently performs MRI procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining clinical competency for all exams and equipment.
  • Certifications and Education Requirements: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program with MR registry. MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or hire date if already obtained. CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of hire date. Two years of relevant experience required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: ARRT Certificate or equivalent (ARMRIT, NMTC, ARDMS), BLS, and required state-specific certifications.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Review patient history and physician orders, apply departmental protocols, properly identify patients, document information accurately, and ensure all exams are coded and archived appropriately. Communicate effectively with patients and team members, demonstrating a caring and respectful approach.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to provide documentation of required credentials and certifications upon request.
