Job Summary:
MRI Technologist York. This full-time position involves working 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The role includes performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, screening patients for contraindications, and ensuring patient and staff safety while providing high-quality care for diverse patient populations, including geriatric and pediatric patients.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered; BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification obtained within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MRI procedures and protocols, excellent patient communication skills, and familiarity with safety standards per American College of Radiology (ACR) protocols.
  • Additional Information: Must be influenza vaccinated as required by the State of Maine unless a medical exemption is provided and approved by Employee Health. The position involves patient education, equipment operation, environment maintenance, and inventory monitoring. Flexibility to do variable shifts based on census and assist with holidays may be required.
