Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for an outpatient clinic setting using Siemens equipment.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting performing mobile MRI services
• Adult acute care patient population
• Schedule of 5x8-hour day shifts (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with consideration for 4x10 or 3x12 schedules
• Weekend rotation includes an 8-hour Saturday shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) on select weeks
• No on-call requirements
• Potential to float between two facility campuses
• Performs general MRI exams including implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• Experience with Sectra and Epic preferred

Additional Information

• Performs high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols for physician interpretation
• Works under general supervision, reporting to the site supervisor and radiology manager
• Teal top and black pants scrub color required
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application for facility approval
• During hurricane season (June through November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
