Schedule
Day Shift
3x12-hour shifts
7:30 AM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
36-hour guarantee
On-call required:
One weekday night (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
Every third weekend:
Friday: 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Saturday: 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Sunday: 7:30 AM – Monday 7:30 AM (24-hour call)
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Radiology Manager, perform a wide variety of MRI examinations while providing exceptional patient care. Utilize professional judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic MRI examinations
Screen and prepare patients for MRI procedures
Produce high-quality diagnostic images
Monitor patient safety and comfort during exams
Follow MRI safety protocols and department standards
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Participate in the required on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
Current ARRT Certification
Current BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Acute care hospital experience
Experience with Siemens MRI equipment
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols
Excellent patient care and communication skills
