Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in Texas. This role involves performing a variety of routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures, supporting colleagues, and ensuring smooth patient flow. The Technologist must demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and/or at other campuses as needed, troubleshooting basic maintenance issues, participating in quality assurance, and adhering to safety protocols within their scope of licensure.

Job Details:

  • Location: 800 E. Dawson, Tyler, TX 75701
  • Schedule: Nights, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Candidate must have completed education at an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) is required. State licensure is mandatory if required in the candidates location. BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting for one year.
  • Additional Information: The Technologist will perform examinations, assist with patient throughput, and ensure images are correctly stored in the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). Troubleshooting and reporting equipment malfunctions are essential responsibilities. Flexibility to work other shifts and at different campuses as needed is required.
