Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in a healthcare facility located in the region. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, including specialized procedures such as MRA, brain, breast, cervical, and spine imaging. The position requires independence, technical proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment, and the ability to work nights consistently. The assignment is designed for a qualified professional with at least one year of experience and valid certifications.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week, from 06:30 PM to 07:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARRT (MR), Basic Life Support (BLS), Washington State license, at least one year of MRI experience, and proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment. Valid compact state license accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ER trauma cases, Epic charting system experience, community hospital or LTAC experience.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work independently and perform specific MRI procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal exams. Must commit to working three of the five major holidays and include all scheduling and RTO requests during application. Previous experience with miscellaneous MRI exams (e.g., brain, breast, cervical, cranial nerves) and contrast media preparation/administration is preferred.
- Travel Requirements: Travelers are expected to float between nearby sister facilities if needed; refusal to float may result in contract termination. All RTO requests must be included upfront.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to inquiry about previous employment at a similar or related facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
