Job Summary:

MRI Technologist position available in an acute care setting. The role involves providing MRI imaging services utilizing GE 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners, adhering to department protocols, and maintaining safety standards. This position requires night shifts with active call and weekend responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience and relevant certifications.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour night shifts every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, alternating Thursdays, with call typically one night per week and one weekend per month. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR), minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, location within 60 miles of the facility, and ability to start IVs.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE MRI scanners.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Department performs approximately 30 scans or studies daily. EMR/PACS systems used include Epic, Fuki, and Synapse PACS. The department employs one GE 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner. No RRA's utilized. In-house radiologists are present and available online. Department-specific orientation includes account policies and protocols. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, with a cancellation policy of 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
