Job Summary
MRI Technologist MRI, located in the surrounding area, is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position involves working in an acute care setting with a focus on neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, critical care, pediatric, including some neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and general anesthesia patients. The role demands technical expertise in operating MRI equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Perform diagnostic MRI procedures utilizing equipment such as Siemens SKYRA 3.0T and Siemens Aera 1.5T, including a temporary mobile MRI unit, with expertise in neuro with perfusion, MSK, abdomen work, critical care patients, pediatric patients (including NICU), and general anesthesia patients.
  • Required Qualifications: Related Bachelor's or Associate's degree; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; current license from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) in MRI; licensed in MRI by the Oregon Board of Imaging (OBMI); minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred.
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, primarily 3rd shift nights; Monday through Friday, 1700 0130, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Orientation will last between 2-4 weeks on the day shift, with possible back-up call until comfortable working the 3rd shift. The role includes working with an aide during all hours, with call based on staffing needs. No floating to other units/departments is required.
