Job Summary:
MRI Technologist in Denver, Colorado. This assignment involves operating MRI equipment in a busy hospital unit, with a focus on MRI procedures including musculoskeletal, body, neuro, and anesthesia-supported cases. The position offers a weekday day shift with on-call responsibilities in the evenings and one weekend per month.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold ARRT (MR) certification, BLS certification, have a minimum of six months of current MRI Technologist experience, and meet education and location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Toshiba MRI systems, willingness to take on additional call, and strong patient care skills are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with Toshiba and GE MRI equipment; the unit supports MSK, body, neuro, and anesthesia cases (e.g., pacemakers). The team consists of four MRI Technologists, with a focus on patient-centered care, flexibility, and teamwork. Call coverage is expected 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented personality are desirable.
