Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist position is located in an organization renowned for its advanced imaging services and comprehensive emergency care. This role involves performing a variety of routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures within a Level II trauma-certified facility. The technologist will support patient flow and ensure compliance with safety and imaging standards, demonstrating flexibility to work at different shifts and campuses as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, multiple shifts available, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted equivalent; one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting; Basic computer skills; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT; BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Additional Information: The MRI Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, assist other imaging technologists, troubleshoot equipment, participate in quality assurance (QA), and adhere to safety protocols related to MRI procedures. The role requires the ability to provide basic MRI screening, prepare maintenance and repairs, and support ongoing education and safety initiatives.
