Job Summary:
MRI Technologist Radiology Regionally located. This role involves operating MRI scanners within an acute care setting, performing general MRI head, neck, abdomen, and extremity studies. The position requires adherence to department protocols and maintaining proficiency with EMR and PACS systems. It offers a dynamic schedule with day shifts, call responsibilities, and weekend coverage.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days with call one night per week and every 3-4 weekends.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR); minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The department has one MRI scanner, and the position involves general imaging duties. Certified radiology professionals are expected to start IVs. Department operates with department-specific orientation and a cancellation policy allowing up to four shifts cancellation within a 13-week assignment. The electronic charting system used is EPIC.
