Travel MRI Technician (Muskegon, MI)

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking a Travel MRI Technician for its Radiology department in Muskegon. You will prepare and position patients and produce high-quality cross-sectional images of the body on the evening shift. This assignment requires 2 years of independent scanning.

• Contract assignment, 90 days with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: immediate start

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling and education related to the exam
• Enter and monitor patient data and transfer images for processing
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, including markers and patient data
• Confirm equipment is working properly and report problems
• Help keep the department, procedure rooms and storage areas clean and orderly

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including 2 years of independent scanning
• Current MRI credentials and any licensure required to practice in Michigan (confirmed during screening)
• Experience submitting images to PACS
• Ability to work an evening schedule, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM

• Prior contract or travel assignment experience
• Experience in a busy hospital MRI department
• Strong references from recent imaging supervisors
• Excellent patient communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to a new department
