Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI imaging procedures using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment, managing approximately 9 patients per shift
Work collaboratively with a Tech Aide or fellow MRI Technologist — travelers will never work solo
Participate in on-call coverage as needed, particularly after midnight when the department transitions to call coverage
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using Meditech Expanse
Be available to work weekends, evenings, and required holiday blocks including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year periods
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (MR) Certification — Required
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification — Required
GE MRI equipment experience required
Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
Must have personal reliable transportation
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
MRI Skills Checklist current within the past year
One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
