Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI imaging across a broad range of anatomical areas including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and vascular studies (MRA/MRV)
Operate MRI equipment including GE systems and utilize PACS for image management
Prepare and/or administer contrast media and perform T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging sequences
Start peripheral IVs and apply radiation safety protocols
Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE standards
Float within the department as needed
Required Qualifications
Active New York State license required and must be in hand at time of submission
ARRT-R certification required
MRI certification required
BLS certification required
EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, ER/Trauma, and Pediatric settings (Acute and Outpatient)
Familiarity with a wide range of MRI protocols including spinal trauma, cranial nerves, temporomandibular joint, and soft tissue neck imaging
Management or lead technologist experience
