Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols across a variety of patient populations for physician interpretation
- Conduct general MRI exams as well as specialized studies including implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
- Report to the site supervisor and radiology manager, operating under general supervision
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and radiation badge requirements
- Utilize Epic for clinical charting and documentation
- May float between outpatient locations as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (first-time travelers considered)
- Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required; state license is not required
- Current BLS certification required
- Radiation badge required — must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
- Proficiency in general MRI exams and specialized modalities including implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Familiarity with outpatient imaging clinic environments
- Ability to adapt to varying shift structures and scheduling needs
