Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures for an average of 6-7 patients per shift, supporting a department volume of approximately 40 scans per day
• Provide imaging support for a heavy neuro caseload including spine, stroke, and head trauma patients, as well as student athletes
• Operate Siemens Sola and Verio MRI equipment in an acute inpatient care environment
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• May be required to work independently as the sole MRI technologist on shift, depending on scheduling
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience as an MRI Technologist
• Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with acute inpatient care and neuro patient populations
• Strong patient care skills and a positive, professional attitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Kentucky state license preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with Siemens MRI equipment (Sola, Verio)
