Shift Details:- 3:30pm-12:30am
- M-F, 40 hours / week
MRI Tech Duties & Responsibilities:- Performs MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Screens patients for MRI safety risks and reviews medical history.
- Prepares and positions patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operates MRI equipment and adjusts imaging parameters to obtain quality images.
- Administers contrast agents and monitors patients during procedures, as authorized.
- Maintains accurate records, follows safety protocols, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare staff.
- Performs related tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications- Current, valid, and unrestricted PA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology program.
- ARRT certification/registration, with MRI certification if required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification,
- Must have experience with Siemens Avanto- VB19
- Additional certifications may be required
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
