    Job Title

    MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

    Location

    Hickory, NC | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts | Start: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekend call rotation (Friday night, Saturday, Sunday)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform MRI imaging studies at a main campus equipped with GE MRI, as well as a mobile GE and Open Hitachi unit at an outpatient imaging center
    • Participate in weekend call rotation to fulfill STAT imaging requests on Friday nights and throughout the weekend
    • Conduct MRI procedures including those performed with anesthesia and stroke rule-out protocols
    • Document and manage patient imaging data using Cerner EHR
    • Float as needed to an outpatient imaging center (approximately 5 minutes from main campus)
    Required Qualifications
    • ARRT certification required
    • MR (Magnetic Resonance) certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
    • Cerner EHR experience required
    • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Cardiac imaging competency preferred
    • Experience operating GE MRI equipment (closed bore and mobile) as well as Open MRI (Hitachi)
    • Comfort working with diverse patient populations including those requiring anesthesia support during imaging
