Job Title: MRI Technician

Shift: Day Shift – 40 hours/week
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused MRI Technician to join our imaging team in Farmington, CT. In this role, you will operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. You'll collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
Position patients correctly and ensure comfort and safety during exams
Screen patients for MRI contraindications and review medical history
Maintain accurate patient records and input data into the EMR system
Follow safety guidelines related to magnetic fields and contrast agents
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or concerns
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and departmental protocols
