Contract | Monday–Friday, Mid/Evening Shift (2:45 PM – 11:15 PM) | Occasional weekend coverage possible (approximately 1 weekend shift per contract)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging on inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients ranging from neonates up to 26 years of age
- Conduct specialized procedures including Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, and SPECT imaging
- Operate GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, Bayer Injectors, Invivo Monitoring systems, and GE PACS
- Manage both sedated and non-sedated MRI cases
- Document and manage patient information using EPIC
- Float to different units as needed depending on assignment demands
Required Qualifications
- Pediatric MRI experience required
- Active MRI Technologist certification/licensure required and must be in hand at time of submission
- 2 supervisory/manager references required at time of submittal (charge nurse references count as only 1 of the 2 required references; at least one reference must hold a manager or supervisor title)
- Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the last 2 years
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — no locals
- Must be willing and able to float to different units as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with sedated pediatric MRI cases
- Familiarity with GE and Siemens MRI platforms (1.5T and 3T)
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records and GE PACS
