    Key Responsibilities
    • Operate MRI and related imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas, including advanced studies.
    • Interview and prepare patients by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
    • Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and proper aseptic injection technique.
    • Communicate effectively with radiologists and other customers regarding study findings and patient care needs.
    • Troubleshoot scanner, PACS, coils, monitors, and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime and maintain workflow efficiency.
    • Train and provide guidance to new technologists and patient coordinators as an experienced onsite team member.
    Required Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • ARRT (R)(MR) certification required.
    • AHA BLS certification required.
    • Valid Connecticut radiology license required (necessary for contrast administration in CT).
    • Valid state driver's license as applicable.
    • Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume setting.
    • Demonstrated proficiency running advanced MR studies independently.
    • Experience managing customer interactions and resolving issues to mutual satisfaction.
